HIUG – Interact June 16-19;  Orlando, FL

Customer Corner – We want to highlight the great accomplishments our HR Focus Group Customers have done in January J.  If your organization has done something great (upgraded, deployed fluid/new functionality) please let me know so you can get your well-deserved recognition.

Human Resources – Focus Group met to review mockups and requirements for ‘Job Data Modernization’ project.  Focus group will meeting in February to continue discussion on Job Data modernization.

Profile Mgmt/Employee Snapshot –  We met with the combined group of employee snapshot, ePerformance and profile management customers and discussed new enhancements on the roadmap and items that have cross module impact.   There will be no meeting in February, but we will have a meeting in March. Onboarding/Offboarding – We are continuing development of some features in activity guide composer to help to support future enhancements to onboarding/offboarding platform.  After these enhancements are complete we will meet back with this group in the March/April time frame to review what we are delivering and get customer feedback on design ideas. ePerformance – Development is almost finished with the first phase of document transfer and we reviewed the use cases for the current development.  This focus group will meet in March to discuss design considerations for multiple peer reviews in a single annual review process. If you would like to be a part of the focus group contact Jeremy.pelley@oracle.com

Position Management – In Image 29 we released a new, modernized Fluid Position Management, one of the biggest enhancements was effective sequencing!!!!  Please see image 29 highlights video below for more details. This group will meet back together in March to discuss more enhancements coming, if you have questions or want to be a part of the focus group email Jeremy.pelley@oracle.com 

  • ELM – The focus group discussed topics of off-line learning and the xAPI needs that organizations have an expressed interest in.  Ideas  and use cases were gathered from the group, we are currently researching this idea.
  • HR Help Desk – Focus Group is looking for additional customers to participate.  The group discussed the Knowledge Center and Case Questionnaire requirements. If you are interested, please contact Sharmaji (sharmaji.kesavamoorthy@oracle.com)

***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

  • China Changes to accumulative withholding tax calculation methods have been announced
  • China – Updates to China accumulative withholding tax calculation following further clarification from the Tax Bureau
  • Australia – The Australian Government Department of Human Services has set a minimum amount that must remain in a person’s wage after tax and child support have been deducted
  • Spain – On December 28th Oracle delivered 2018 Tax Update #11 containing the changes to comply
  • Puerto Rico – We have delivered product modifications to support Puerto Rico year end reporting for tax year 2018
  • France – The French Government, as part of their annual routine, has announced updates on Social Security Ceilings,  Benefit In Kind (Lodgment, Food/meal), Minimum Salary (SMIC) , Garnishments (Saisies sur Salaires) or Fillon Reduction
  • New Zealand – Inland Revenue has released the revised version of the specification document for 2019
  • United States – EEO-1 report deadline has been extended from March 31 to May 31, 2019
