Report PeopleSoft RH d’Octobre

Le report PeopleSoft RH du mois d'octobre est disponible !

Upcoming Conferences:

  • Alliance (Higher Education/Public Sector) – February 27–March 3; Las Vegas, NV
  • COLLABORATE – April 2-6; Las Vegas, NV

October Conferences:

The CAB (Customer Advisory Board) event was held at Oracle Headquarters, October 18 – 20 (See pics below) .     Oracle invites numerous HCM PeopleSoft customers from all over the world to participate in a 3 day event where customers provide feedback & prioritize on the HCM projects targeted for the next 12-18 months.   There are 7 key projects for HCM – 1) Onboarding/Offboarding, 2) Guided Self Service  3) Employee/Job Side By Compare  4) Global HR & Payroll  5) Org Structure (Co. Directory, Matrix Teams)   6) Employee Snapshot and 7) Talent Management

At this year CAB the 3 big themes customers discussed were:

  • Global HR – Successfully deploying PeopleSoft HCM globally and having the ability to configure by country.  A tie for request (with GSS) was for address configurability by country and validation.
  • Integration – Customers who are using Oracle Cloud products (ex. Taleo, Oracle Comp) requested to have tighter/better integration between the two Oracle products.
  • Fluid –Baylor, Scott & White Health, Mutual of Omaha Deutsche Bahn and  shared how they implemented and deployed fluid self service to their employees.  Majority of 9.2 CAB members said fluid was the next big initiative for their company.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Image 19 – We delivered a significant change to how you can configure Name Display. The request came for the Global HR Focus Group to assist with name formatting for different countries.  Part of this enhancement, employees now have the ability to update Preferred First Name via Self Service (you do not have to be ‘global’ to use this feature).  I know many of you created modifications to allow employees to enter a preferred first name – please review our solution and consider removing your modification – see documentation attachment for the Name Change.

Customer Corner – I want to highlight the great accomplishments our HR Focus Group Customers have done this monthJ.  If your organization has done something great (upgraded, deployed fluid/new functionality) please let me know so you can get your well deserved recognition.

  • Profile Management Focus Group – We are still gathering requirements and looking at the enhancements for Profile Mgmt.  Our inaugural focus group meeting occurred the last week of September.  The CAB  provided input on specific enhancements they would like.  Focus group is planning to meet the first week of December to review requirements/priority.
