Customer Corner – I want to highlight the great accomplishments our HR Focus Group Customers have done in January & February J.  If your organization has done something great (upgraded, deployed fluid/new functionality) please let me know so you can get your well deserved recognition.

 

HR Focus Group Updates:  Thank you to all the customers who volunteered to participate in the focus group

  • Global HR no update this month
  • Onboarding –  Focus group spent time discussing functionality around HR Business Partner as well as Admin view.  We plan to talk about off boarding on the March call.  If you want to be a part of the focus group, contact Jeremy (pelley@oracle.com)
  • ePerformance – Discussed focus groups top priorities as well as what we are currently developing, also shared ideas that came out of the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) meeting.  DEV is currently working enhanced notifications that will allow for a configurable framework to send notification of due dates within the document process. If you want to be a part of the focus group, contact Jeremy (pelley@oracle.com)
  • Employee Snapshot –Jeremy did a webinar for Quest on Employee Snapshot, exploring how both managers and administrators can use employee snapshot to make well informed and important decisions based on the data available in PeopleSoft. Watch the webinar recording

  • Profile Management – We are finishing up are design and development of attachments for Person Profile.  QA team is testing this the Fluid Manager Self Service functions for Profile Mgmt.  We will meet in March to review these soon to be delivered functions as well as looking at what is next.

  • Position Management – Position Management focus group met to review the Position Management Modernization Requirements shared by participants via an email survey. Each requirement was discussed in detail, further clarifications were sought on some requirements by us and call ended with a plan to meet again in sometime once proposed flows are ready.  If you want to be a part of the focus group contact Jeremy (pelley@oracle.com)
  • S. Federal The primary topic of discussion was uptake of new features delivered in image 24 and 25 and customers/partners shared their end experience with using the new Guided Personnel Actions feature. If you are interested, contact Venky (venkatesh.kotikalapudi@oracle.com)
  • HR Help Desk Dev team is wrapping up the planned enhancements and Classic Plus uptake for Image 15. Also discussed roadmap priorities for next PUM Image#16 and customers provided their respective rankings.  Focus Group brainstormed and provided feedback on planned feature enhancement – Fluid Knowledge Center.  If you are interested in this focus group, contact Mohit (shukla@oracle.com)

***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.  Email me if you are interested in any of the above focus groups.

  • Malaysia – The new Employment Insurance System formulated in Malaysia necessitates employers to register and notify the Social Security Organization on certain information pertaining to the employer as well as employees
  • Malaysia – The Social Security organization of Malaysia has released the file specification to report the new Employment Insurance System contributions
  • New Zealand – Inland Revenue Department has released amendments to Student Loan Thresholds for fiscal year effective 1st of April 2018
  • India – The Finance Minister has presented the budget for Fiscal Year 2018-19 on 1st of February 2018. There are amendments with respect to deductions from total income, exemptions and taxes. These changes are effective 1st of April 2018.
  • United States – Several U.S. tax changes that were announced too late to be included in Tax Update 18-A are now available on Patches & Updates
  • Spain – Changes to react to the new format of the Model 10T (Certificado de retenciones e Ingresos a cuenta) delivered by the Tax Agency)
